Let’s Just Say! This Place Is Phenomenal ! The food the friendly staff the Persian Beer ! We ordered the sampler Plate with different variations of Dips and sauces! Top tier superb! We Then have ordered Spicy Koobieh which consisted of the Minced lamb in marinated Persian spices and a fluffy rice biriyani ! Absolutely Delicious! Our waiter Amir who was not only gorgeous to look at but was also super friendly extremely professional and very attentive. This place is overall a 10 out of 10 definitely will be recommending this place to fellow co workers because I am a flight attendant food is our survival and I can say without a doubt this food is comforting filling and the portions!
It’s been a while since I’ve been at the game, but there’s no rest for the wicked.
I fancied Persian and stumbled across Sadaf. The reviews looked promising, so I took the risk.
The staff were quite friendly and settled us swiftly. The aesthetic and decor had a modern touch, which was nice.
As tradition states, we got the koobideh with rice and naan, some spicy wings, lamb chops and chicken biryani.
The koobideh was absolutely tremendous - soft and succulent, packed with flavour and each bite felt divine. The rice was beautifully cooked and was paired superbly with the pickled cabbage! A twist from the usual salad. The naan was super fresh and tasty, however became firm instantaneously due to its thin nature - this was a shame. The lamb chops were nice, but a little firm for my liking - I wouldn’t be getting them again. The spicy wings were packed with flavour and melted in my mouth. The chicken biryani was very interesting, with the grilled courgettes and tomatoes, and caramelised onions within - that was wholesome foods with juicy chicken.
I was pretty impressed, especially as there was consistency between the 2 visits. If I’m around Kensington, I’d certainly lean towards visiting Sadaf for authentic and quality Persian cuisine. 8/10.
Excellent service, food came out quick was very tasty, juicy and full of flavour. The freshly made naan bread is a must. Very reasonably priced with large portions 😋
Nice clean place if you do not want alcohol with your meal. What a shame I did not notice my water glass was still warm before I filled it. My lamb chops were perhaps a little crispy? Service was efficient.
Fair prices, great food.
The service was great, no long waiting times. You kinda have to pick the right thing for you on the menu because it’s huge.
About 15£ for a main course and drink.
Great experience all around.
