Have you ever felt like dropping the fork after the first bite? If not and if yes doesn't matter what you taste here is far different from any dishes you ever had I promise. This is mesmerising, fabulous. It's a risk free experience.

My favourite meal of 2025 so far! Would highly recommend the grills and also try the special desert for something unusual and absolutely delicious. Five stars.

Place came recommended by a friend not to disappoint. Had starters, mains, desserts, drinks for 3 around £103. Beautiful warm service especially by Parsa and Faezeh.
The one drawback is seating is really cramped got to see the other seating arrangements downstairs etc next time. Our pooch was at ease too but if dog friendly try offer a bowl of water for them too. And maybe introduce something on the house too. Rest retain the quality.
Thanks for a lovely evening.

Pics and what we tried this visit:

A delicious authentic Persian meal in a restaurant in the city detailed below:

Mirza Ghasemi - Smoked aubergine, tomatoes and garlic, topped with a fried egg - have had better.

Sangak Bread - Traditional Persian Flatbread - have had better.

Bakhtiari - A medley of marinated lamb fillet cubes, saffron chicken pieces, peppers, and onions - highly recommended

Lamb Shank - Slow-cooked tender lamb shank, served with a speciality dill and broad beans rice - highly
recommended

Naroon Mojito

Bastani - Saffron ice cream, pistachio and rose - highly recommended

Persian tea - refreshing but moderate the sweet to as much as you prefer!

While traveling in London, it was a priority to make a trip to Naroon as it had glowing reviews. It did not disappoint.

We started with the Olivieh and the Kuku Sabzi as appetizers. The olovieh could have used a bit more spice but was tasty - while the kuku took me back to childhood memories eating with my family around the table. It had pomegranate seeds sprinkled on top which added a nice contrast. The Taftoon bread and Torshi were nice complements to the appetizers and the rest of the meal.

The true standouts from our order were the mains. For the table we shared a Vaziri - which is one skewer of Joujeh Kabob (Boneless Chicken) and one skewer of Koobideh Kabob (Ground Lamb). The Koobideh was grilled to perfection while the Joujeh was extremely tender and moist.

The Ghormeh Sabzi (Mixed Herb Stew) was one of the best I’ve had in a restaurant. You could immediately taste the dried lime doing its part to blend and mix the flavors. More times than not, when ordering this dish at a Persian restaurant, it is not fresh - however this was very fresh and comforting to eat.

At this point we were very full - yet still decided to order the desert “Se-Shir Irani” which translates to “Iranian Tres Leches.” Unfortunately, they had just sold out for the night - which was disappointing but left us something to look forward to next time.

The food, staff, space, and ambiance were all very welcoming! It will be a regular stop for me next time I’m in London.

Sadly, this Persian spot didn't live up to its high ratings. The food was thoroughly mediocre - nothing that would make me want to come back. I tried several dishes and none of them really stood out or captured the rich flavors I've come to expect from Persian cuisine.

The atmosphere was another letdown. During lunch, the noise level was almost unbearable. You could barely hear your own thoughts, let alone have a conversation. I noticed some couples trying to have a romantic lunch, and I felt bad for them - this definitely isn't the place for an intimate meal.

I'm genuinely puzzled by all the glowing reviews online. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but based on my experience, there are much better options for Persian food in town. The prices weren't outrageous, but given the quality of the food and the chaotic atmosphere, it wasn't worth it. I'd suggest looking elsewhere, especially if you're planning a date or wanting to have an actual conversation over your meal.

Bottom line: Save yourself the disappointment and skip this one. There are plenty of other Persian restaurants that do a much better job at both the food and ambiance.
