It's the third or fourth time and I'll be back again and again. The starters are very tasty the meats are of great quality and nicely cooked. The saffron ice cream and aromatic tea is the perfect end to a dinner shared with friends.

I liked this place. Good Persian food. Not expensive. Would go back a few times a year for informal dinner with friends.

Little bit hard to find but you won't be disappointed. Really good grill and rice dished. I highly recommend to try their drinks especially one with dates and nuts in it. Almost like milkshake but so much better. Very generous food portion.

We were very excited to start with. Culturally aware of the nice food, we headed to Kishmish. Food was average. Absolute lack of salad. Sauce- a murky greasy water ( what was that supposed to be?). Rice was fine. Chicken leg was dry and sweet, lamb shank was perfectly done. The downside- the service....We asked if we could have a lamb shank instead of the chicken leg. The waitress expressed her opinion on how weird it would be to have a lamb on that sort of rice and then came back from the kitchen with the same view from the chef apparently. Well, it's us who are eating, so I guess their job is to please a customer instead of make it more unpleasant. Eventually we had to take two separate dishes and literally swap the meat with each other. Next, the hidden charge for bringing your own wine ( £3.50)- absurd. The hidden service charge 10%. I am well aware of the service charge to be an optional charge. We paid just over the half of the charge and were confronted by the waitress that we didn't pay enough. Now, is she playing dumb or is she not trained? I pointed out that the bill receipt must indicate that the service charge is not compulsory. Embarrassing! We will not be going back.

The quality of the meat: very good. Portions: too big. Prices: appropriate. Persian spices: not in the dishes we picked, unfortunately.
The crispy rice with beans and meat made us believe that it would be a great dinner. The rest let us down a bit. Nice food which could have come from anywhere really.
