horrible coffee - the worst flat white i've ever had - why is this place in the london coffee guide?
sent back and remade twice but i ended up just walking out after one sip.
it's such a shame though - the staff were veru friendly and the food offering seemed to be authentic but don't come here expecting decent coffee

Went for breakfast 2 days in a row here, as it is near to my accommodation and thought the food and coffee taste pretty good and have less people. Flat white + ham & cheese croissant costs £7.10. BUT, today I ran out of £10. I gave the waiter £50 note, the waiter (guy) said he doesn't have ANY change. He said "who uses cash these days?" wryly. I am sorry, I am a tourist, I don't know that cash note is not money in London. I have planned to use the £10 note to top up my Oyster card, which the Oyster card top up machine states "no change given". So I gave him £10 note + £2.20 coins so that I can at least top up Oyster card with £5 note for my last day in London, but he said he didn't even have a £5 note! Prospective customers esp tourists who don't bring credit card because afraid of pickpockets (in addition to knowing that Credit Card exchange rate is usually higher) please be aware: This cafe has no change for notes, just like the Oyster top up machine. Maybe London IS like that. I don't even know if I should post this review. Felt stupid after being questioned "who uses cash these days?" I am sorry that I don't know 😭😭
